Consequences of the attack on Kyiv: Significant damage to the children's hospital Ohmatdyt, debris falling in many districts of the city (PHOTOS)
On the morning of July 8, Russian forces launched another attack on Kyiv. Debris fell in the Desnyanskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city.

In the Solomianskyi district, debris from a missile caused damage to two floors of a business center. The destruction covers an area of 1500 square meters. There is one fatality, two injuries, and a fire covering 50 square meters.
Darnytskyi district: A fragment hit a private residential house, injuring a woman's arm.
Desnyanskyi district: A house is on fire.
Holosiivskyi district: Garages are damaged, cars are burning.
Shevchenkivskyi district: Missile debris hit one of the hospitals.
"In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the Ohmatdyt children's hospital was affected, there is destruction," clarified the KMVA.
President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that this is one of the most important exclusively children's hospitals not only in Ukraine but also in Europe. "Ohmatdyt" has saved and restored the health of thousands of children.
"Now the hospital is damaged by a Russian strike, people are under the rubble, the exact number of injured and dead is currently unknown. Everyone is now helping to clear the debris: doctors and ordinary people.
Russia cannot be unaware of where its missiles are flying and must fully answer for all its crimes: against people, against children, against humanity as a whole. It is very important that the world does not remain silent about this now and that everyone sees what Russia is doing," Zelensky emphasized.
Additionally, there is a hit on a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, reported Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. "Entrances are damaged. One is destroyed. Residents are being evacuated," said the city head.
In other districts of the city, debris fell on open areas. Rescuers are working at the sites.
As of 12:00, it is preliminarily known that seven people have died in Kyiv. Later, the head of KMVA Serhii Popko reported that the number of dead had increased.
"Preliminary information — 8 dead. We are on the territory of the Ohmatdyt hospital. Debris clearance is ongoing. There is information that people, possibly children, are under the rubble," Popko said.
As reported, on the morning of July 8, the Russians launched missiles across Ukraine. Various cities were under attack: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk.
In Dnipro, a residential building and a service station were hit by the Russians. As a result of the massive missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, there were several hits, 10 dead, over 30 injured, 10 of them seriously. Three people died in Pokrovsk.
According to Zelensky, the enemy launched over 40 missiles of different types today.
