How radio signals have increased at the front in Ukraine (satellite images)
Satellite imagery clearly shows how the power of radio signals is increasing in the areas of hostilities. In Ukraine, this is due to the use of drones and electronic warfare (EW) equipment that counteracts the same drones.
We took images from NASA's SMAP satellite. It measures natural radiation at a frequency of 1.413 GHz across the Earth's surface in 40 by 40 km squares to determine water salinity (there is a physical model that relates surface temperature, water salinity, and radiation intensity).
This radiation is usually very weak. If the satellite's radiometer detects stronger signals from some other sources (e.g., communication equipment, EW, or radar), this data is defined as interference after processing. In other words, the maps are the number of unnatural radiation (interference) cases at a frequency of 1.413 GHz in a certain place.
The images clearly show that such anomalies are concentrated in only a few places on the planet. Since February 2022, they have been gradually increasing in the area of hostilities in Ukraine.
We have also noticed a stable accumulation of unnatural radiation in Myanmar, where an armed confrontation between the junta and local rebels has been going on since the end of October 2023.
Several times, the images show a strong signal from a single point. Most likely, this is the territory of the Chinese province of Xinjiang, where the Chinese government is pursuing a systematic policy of genocide and assimilation against the Uighurs.
